Civic Ballet Painting

Last November I was honored to be asked to be one of the artists for the Civic Ballet Art's Showcase at the Link Center in Tupelo, Mississippi.  It is such a wonderful event.  Performers share their talents with the public for a night of free entertainment.  The music is outstanding and Jan Dijkwel does a top notch job of directing the Civic Ballet.  It was while watching the ballet that I thought about doing this painting.  I wasn't able to get the shot myself, though I did have my camera but Chasity Leigh Dees was able to provide me with the photo.  I'm not sure why I painted it so small, lesson learned.  lol  I enjoyed using my new Parallel Palette by Artist David Kassan.
