How nice it is to get in the car and ten minutes later I am at The Art Museum of South Texas. They have wonderful exhibits on. If you watch the video I made you can see the painting of “Man Reading” by John Singer Sargent, America’s beloved portrait Artist. 1856-1925. Photos weren’t allowed but I decided after looking at the painting up close and in person and finding a photo of it online I would attempt to do a Master Copy. Master Copies are a great way of learning. It’s not perfect but I decided to leave all my mistakes instead of striving for more. It was so much fun.
