I spent 2 hours painting this Alla Prima Oil Portrait. Thought I would get some more practice in for my first time to paint a live model Saturday. In the car the other day my Grandson informed me that he is keeping up with how many paintings I do of them and so far he is behind, so he was the model for this one. Just when I thought he wasn't paying attention. lol! I have every intention to keep them equal, my own Mum taught me that. These little pieces are learning tools. It is quite exillerating to finish a piece of art in one day, almost like a test, when the buzzer goes off put down the brush and see what you have.
