Started another portrait tonight!

I started another portrait tonight. 2 hours on part of the under layer.  The canvas is 18" x 24"  I'll try to make this a work in progress for you and keep up with my time just for fun.  I wonder if my Grandchildren will be the most painted children in history apart from royalty?  lol!  I loved this photo of Marion that I took outside in the yard, wearing a $5 dress I bought at the Salvation Army.  I'm all about saving money but this dress spoke to me and said paint me.  All will be revealed a little at a time.  (You don't even see the dress yet)  Who knows perhaps someone locally will recognize the dress they donated.  I'm hoping this painting will have a classical feel to it.
