Parallel Palette

I decided to make my own Parallel Palette.  David Kassan, one of my favorite artists came up with the design but he can't seem to keep up with the demand to make them and they have been out of stock for months, so I thought it wouldn't hurt to make my own.  I used to work in a Sign Shop and so with the help of my good friend Shane he came up with the grey sintra for me and even cut it to size and bent the bottom for me.  I bought  a piece of glass and one of those screw thingies to attach it to the camera stand.  I just used a glue (9001) from Hobby Lobby to attach my glass to the sintra.  I save my drink tops to reuse for medium and attach it to the palette with a little drill hole and a zip tie.  So all in all, it didn't cost me very much at all.  Thanks Shane!  Be warned this palette is not for Windsor and Newton paints (they drip to much and slide off)  I don't have many of that brand, I mainly use M. Graham with a few special colors from Rembrandt.  For those non artists out there that are wondering why bother?  This palette gets the paint right up beside your canvas, so there isn't the constant look down, mix, look back and forth etc.  it's all right there.  It's adjustable because it's on the stand.  I enjoyed using it today for the first time.
