Southern Living part II

I managed a couple of hours this afternoon.  The dog is coming to life now.  This is my first dog portrait, a little bit different than people.  I laughed when I found myself measuring the eye distance and nose in relation to the eyes etc. as I usually do in people.  Oh well, it looks ok to me.  lol!  I tend to mix a lot of paint on the canvas also.  It would be hard to explain to someone wanting to learn how I paint what I'm doing.  I love oil paint though.
